PROJECT MANAGEMENT
AAtec’s Project Management Office (PMO) is the coordinating hub driving the successful execution of our customer programs and projects. Our customers value timeliness and dependability, and our mutual success depends on the diligence of our project managers (PMs) to reduce costs when possible and maintain project schedules.
Our processes begin in business development as we work to understand client needs and objectives. Site inspections are emphasized for complex projects. We build estimates, bids, and proposals that detail joint solutions for both Atec and our customer. PMs then conduct and supervise risk, quality, and production planning reviews during our Job Kickoff project phase. Contract Administrators assist with contract documentation, deliverables, requirements, and client inquiries. Engineering supports design reviews and associated production decisions. Atec’s document and configuration control assure the proper item version is produced and integrated with our multilevel inspection and quality control efforts. Suppliers are carefully selected, supervised, and assisted by our Supplier Management Program.
Our Global Shop ERP system facilitates our internal and external monitoring and managing efforts throughout each project. The full visibility of our ERP system allows the Atec PMO to keep track of changes and insure all parties are working together to mitigate schedule and cost impacts. Tracking forms document all significant changes for transparency and accuracy. Periodic cost and schedule reports give our project group and management the tools to keep our projects on track.
