Atec is proud to announce the exclusive consultancy of Mr. Don Drewry to our 62 year old firm, as a Senior Development Engineer. Mr. Drewry began a renowned career in the turbine test cell industry as a software and control systems engineer. “Following productive years in marketing, Don led as CEO, the successful turnaround of one of the world’s premier large test cell companies,” said Paul Fenley, Atec President.
Atec is experiencing a period of strong growth for aeroengine support contracts. Mr. Drewry is expected to assist with current workload and large test cell development opportunities. Following the acquisition 19 months ago of Celtech Corp, the world’s largest producer of ground-based intermediate test cells, Atec has continued an aggressive growth strategy. Employment is up 60%, capital equipment and facilities are doubled, ERP/IT infrastructure modernization is well underway and we are now producing our 10th Phoenix™ modular test cell. Backlog, opportunities tracking, and projections are at record levels.
Product modernization and development efforts are underway for Atec and Celtech. Our clear leadership in innovative aeroengine test and maintenance products is renowned internationally. Process and operational alignment continues to add joint efficiency and quality. Our field services, maintenance, and construction are booming. Space systems business shows similar upward trends.
